Happy birthday Emma! We had her first birthday party on her actual birthday, October 21st at the park in our neighborhood. It was a perfect Fall day. It was so much fun and she did exactly as every baby should and dug right into the birthday cake. She was a little timid at first because she wasn't sure it was ok to make such a big mess. Once she realized that we were encouraging it, she took full advantage! The day was full of family, friends, fun and a real owl even showed up in the rafters of the pavilion of the park just to say hello and stayed there the whole time. ;) Here are a few pictures of our beautiful baby girl and her big day...
