10 months

I can't believe 10 months has already gone by! Emma is an absolute blessing to us and have learned more about ourselves than we ever thought. Here are a few highlights from her 10th month:

Our buddy Evan came to stay with us again. It's so fun to watch them grow up together and we are blessed to have such great friends like Melissa and Eric.

My pretty baby.

This girl LOVES her daddy. This was Craig's 29th birthday celebration.

Showing off those two pearly whites. She also got another tooth on the top right that's hard to see in this picture, but it's one of her canines so she really will be a little snaggle tooth. ;)

Not walking yet, but she's starting to let go of things and stand up on her own. It really will be any day now.

Emma's bff, Eisleigh Rose. These girls are 3 weeks apart and so cute together. Thankful for Godly parents here in Ellijay to walk alongside in raising our girls.

She has discovered how to open the cabinets and really likes to crawl inside. Luckily, we have lots of cabinets and they aren't all full. I see many hiding places in her future!

We went to a KinderMusik class and it was musical chaos, but she loved it. It was great for me as well to be able to meet some of the other moms here.

Quality time with great memaw!

If we say "Aww, give it love" she will do this to anything she is holding. My heart melts.

Big girl trying to get into an apple.

This picture just sums up Emma. Sweet, fun, funny, sassy, loving, and just so darn cute - we love you Embug!

9 months - Better late than never

9 month check-up:
weight: 17.4 pounds
height: 28 inches
words: ma-ma, da-da, do-da. She talks ALL the time and recognizes Craig and I when she sees us, which of course melts my heart.
pulling up on everything
still does her crab crawl, but she is fast!
walking around things like the coffee table or a chair while holding on
starting to want to climb, but hasn't quite figured out how to get the other leg up there, thankfully

I love it now that Emma is better at getting around by herself. When I'm in the kitchen I let her crawl around and play in her little "garden" set and she likes to pull the baskets off of the shelf of the island, so I put some tupperware and toys in there for her to play with. She gets so proud of herself.

We had a great visit with my grandparents recently. They made the trip up the mountains with my parents to come see Emma and our new house. She loved her great-grandparents and the bear they brought her!

They adore eachother ;)

Emma and her best buddy Evan. So glad we get to see this sweet family a lot even though we are an hour and half apart now.

Oliver came to visit!! It melted my heart when I opened the door and he said, "Hannah house. Emma Emma." We miss this little guy so much! He was so great with Emma and she followed his every move. He immediately walked over to her exersaucer and started playing with the toys on the side. Then Emma got on the other side and they were "talking" back and forth. We can't wait to meet Oliver's little brother or sister - coming soon!

She has a fascination with her sound machine. She knows how to turn it on now too and will look at me with the most proud look on her face.

So thankful for our friends in Ellijay. This is the oldest daughter, Haven, of our friends Josh and Katherine. She is so sweet to Emma and Emma adores her and her baby sister Eisleigh.

"Can I get in here?"

And she's off! I am almost confident that she will be walking within the next month. She is so much fun and we are just trying to hold on to every moment and stage that is flying by so quickly!
