Our move to the mountains and Emma's 8 months

Goodbye city, hello mountains. The Hensleys have moved to Ellijay, Ga. We loved our 2 years in Atlanta and wouldn't trade it for the world. We met some great lifelong friends and got to be part of a growing gospel driven church. We will miss our neighbors and have gotten to know them well just over the past several months with our block party cookouts. You don't realize how much you love a place until you leave! We will miss many things and many people in Atlanta, but are excited about what God has for us in Ellijay.

Carlyle Square - our first home as a family of 3

Emma loved "helping" us pack.

She tried almond banana "pancakes" - her first finger food. She LOVED getting to eat it by herself. I think we are going to have an independent girl on our hands.

Our buddy Oliver, trying to give Emma a hug. As I said in my last post, we are definitely going to miss him. I have seen him grow into a fun little boy. He is very sweet to Emma and she absolutely loves him. I wish I had gotten a video of Emma's reaction to seeing Oliver after she woke up from a nap: priceless.

Emma still has a love for dogs - almost makes me want to get one - almost. She even found Oliver's toy dog and couldn't put it down.

She is such a great night sleeper - still going strong with 12-13 hours! Nap times are a little more unpredictable, but I would say we are lucky. In this picture she fell asleep while trying to escape. ;)

Playing with Aunt Grace in our new house

Helping daddy put together her crib

Our new home in Ellijay, Ga. We are beyond blessed.

She is all over the place in this walker - you really have to watch your toes! She is getting more fun everyday. So much personality.

The incredible park that Emma and I walk to almost everyday

Still loving to eat

Tooth #1 came in June 13th! If you look really close you can see that her bottom left tooth popped through the skin. Then a few days later #2 came in too, the bottom right. Other than having a runny nose, she really didn't act all that different while teething. For the most part she was her happy, funny little self.

New favorite - riding on daddy's shoulders

It won't be long until we have a little walker.

I love her smile and listening to her cute giggle.

Trying out her very own pool

She loved the water and Zhara, MayMay and GranJoe's dog

She's standing and pulling up on everything. She is very proud of herself.

We are so blessed to have already connected with 2 families here in Ellijay who happen to have daughters that are Emma's age. They all came over for dinner one night and we had to get a picture of the girls: Lillie 10 months, Emma 8 months, Eisleigh 9 months.

We love seeing Emma's personality come out more and more everyday and can't wait to make more memories in our new home and new town.
