The theme of this month has been curiosity. Emma is curious about everything. She is really beginning to notice food. Anything I am eating she wants to eat and will try to put her fingers in my mouth as if she's trying to figure out what it is. I started letting her take little "sips" out of my cup of water and she thinks its the greatest thing ever. She sees a cup & automatically starts reaching for it and chomps down.
She is rolling ALL over the place and never stops moving. When holding her I have to be careful because she will literally jump out of my arms. Although she is super squirmy and wiggly, she's also gotten more cuddly lately. She will look up at us and then just put her head on our shoulder and her arm around our neck as if she's trying to give us a hug. She is really interested in faces and will grab your nose, eyes, ears, lips (particularly she likes to fish hook your mouth), earrings, and definitely the hair.
Emma is about to start crawling any day now. She raises up on her knees and pushes up with her arms and lunges forward. She is better at scooting backward though which is obviously a little frustrating for her as she gets farther away from the toy she wants.
Other big milestones for this month are that we don't swaddle her anymore, she sleeps on her tummy, and is pretty consistently sleeping 9-10 hours a night!
Constantly chewing on things - I think we have some teeth trying to break through.
Love her pouty lips and bright blue eyes
She loves her exersaucer even more and is trying to figure out all the toys.
One of her favorite things to do is listen to Craig play banjo, which is equally as enjoyable for him.
Wearing our St. Patrick's Day green'ish'
And here is a little taste of her personality - so much fun:
